Accountability and formal contact

Contact, complaints and privacy requests

A clear route for a complaint, privacy request, professional-verification request, or report of an error in a published resource.

Not for emergencies

Do not use this route for immediate risk or a medical or psychiatric emergency. Seek local emergency care.

What can be submitted?

  • An administrative complaint about booking, payment, links or communication.
  • A professional complaint about care, boundaries or privacy.
  • A request for access, correction or an appropriate copy of information.
  • A formal request to verify professional identity, role or registration.
  • A clinical or technical error report for a published tool, including its form code and version.

How to submit

Email Review@drkhalidmentalhealth.com and begin the subject line with “Formal complaint”, “Privacy request”, “Professional verification” or “Tool error”. Include only the minimum necessary information in the first message and do not send lengthy clinical histories or sensitive document images unless requested.

Acknowledgement and review

Receipt is normally acknowledged within five working days. A substantive response is targeted within twenty working days, although verification involving records or external bodies may take longer. Material delays are communicated.

Fair review and no retaliation

A good-faith complaint is reviewed professionally and does not reduce the person’s right to dignity or appropriate referral. A matter may need to be directed to the relevant professional or legal authority depending on the service location and issue.

Confidentiality

Complaint information is used for verification, response, improvement and professional defence where necessary. Access is limited to those who need it.
